Five Oaks Manor LLC

This is a wonderful facility. With the new administrator taking over and changing everything around things are smooth sailing and it’s just a happy place for the workers and residence. My grandmother loves living here and they always have fun activities for the residence to go to and keep them busy and happy. They are very attentive and caring to everyone. Would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

My grandmother has been at this facility for a couple years now and I have been very pleased with the staff and facility. People are always cleaning and it never has the normal nursing home smell it always smells fresh and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful and have always been so attentive to the patients. I couldn’t ask for a better place for my grandma to be at. Would recommend to anyone.

My Mom was a medicare resident here for the 6 months prior to her death in 2014. I've read some of the other reviews here, and I wonder if they're talking about the same facility. Granted, I only live 5 minutes from Five Oaks, and as such I was prone to drop in at any time of the day or night for a visit with Mom. But that actually makes it more difficult for a facility to "hide" things. I never once encountered her receiving anything but the best care that you can provide to someone who's mind is gone (Alzheimer's). She was always clean and carefully dressed and well fed. There was no warning about when i was going to show up, and I never found any of the issues others have noted here. As to the staff, the Administrative staff was always warm and both efficient and professional with me. The nursing staff and caretakers were always pleasant and helpful. This type of facility deals with people at what is probably the worst point in their lives. Things will never be perfect when you're dealing with residents who cannot do anything for themselves. But the staff here made the best of it, and I am thankful for that.

Very professional staff and very clean. This is a well maintained nursing facility. The rehab program/team here has many strengths and specialty programs. The private rooms here are probably the largest in the area. I love this building!

The management staff care about the patients and their dignity. It is a challenge to work in such a heavily regulated environment, and the staff should be commended for their dedication to providing a safe home for those that otherwise wouldn't have it. It is hard work. Five Oaks is a safe place to bring a loved-one to. I saw very sick patients live a very long time under the care there, and many happy families and residents. Compared to most nursing homes out there, FOM stands out in that most of the staff works with conviction and a passion for geriatric patients.
