North Carolina State Veterans Home - Salisbury

My Dad was in this facility for a short time before his death. Even though he was only there for a few weeks, I cannot say enough good things about the staff at this facility. It was obviously they loved and cared for my Dad. I had lots of questions, and since his health was declining so rapidly, I was constantly calling to check on him, I visited regularly, and emailed daily. I never felt like I was bothering them or that they didn't want to help me. Everyone from the person greeting you as you walked in, to the nurses, to the back office people, they were ALL great. He ended up having Hospice care at the end of his time there, and they were fantastic as well and really helped my brother and I deal with everything that was happening. It was very refreshing to see our my Dad and other veterans being treated with such care, love, and respect. It is the least we can do for them!

Clean, well staffed with caring people, my husband has been here for 6 years he calls it home. I love the nurses, staff and office workers
