Only Non-chain restaurant in town. Friendly servers. Pronto Burrito is fantastic and should only be attempted by a manly man. Pancakes huge and wonderful. Wife loved her omelette.

Pecos River Cafe us GREAT place to eat breakfast or lunch. They are alway busy from the time they open to closing. They are closed for the weekend. Grady Ferguson

One of Carlsbads BEST RESTAURANTS!! The Food is VERY GREAT !! Great Homemade Cinnamon Rolls and Other Deserts !!! The Wait Staff is Very Good. The only draw back is the noise from the Customers. The Tables are pretty close together. But it's understandable. LOTS OF HOME TOWN FOLKS eat here. Thank You for a Yummy Place to Eat 😉

The food was really good, but a few things that bothered me, #1 most of our silver wear was dirty. They put the dirty dishes right next to the clean dishes. Really gross. #2 the food was extremely expensive. Kinda sucks to pay 7$ for a kids meal plus 3$ for a drink...for a 3 yr old. #3 if I'm paying 3$ for a drink, I should at least be able to get a to go cup..i always get my drink to go and never once have I been charged 1.50$ for a to go cup.... outrageous...our meal was about the same price as eating at red lobster.
