Penn Station East Coast Subs

The subs were excellent. Hand cut fries- yum. Can't get better than that. The owners are super friendly and staff very nice.

Arrived here a few minutes before closing on a Sunday evening, and they would not serve me. Very shocked by this, as I have dined here several times in the past. The only reason I did not give 1 star is because I am loyal to this place. But, that may be changing.

Everything, everything is fresh. The subs are not overstuffed and their bread is tasty. The staff is corteous and attentive. Not fancy but definitely fast and fresh!

Today my fiancé and I visited this restaurant for the first time. While paying for our food there was a employee name Deandre who was continuously rolling his eyes and making rude comments. We sat down and could not even enjoy our food due to his continued comments and gestures. He stood in front of our table and stared at us and rolled his eyes the ENTIRE time we ate. He made us feel extremely uncomfortable. We were almost afraid to look up from our meal because each time we did he made a rude and unnecessary comment. While attempting to leave the restaurant he was still making obscene gestures and comments. I asked to speak with the manager and the employee Deandre began to yell “bye” and waving his hand in our faces several times. We attempted to explain our frustrations and confusion about the situation to the manager but he seemed to not care and justified the workers actions by stating that he has a “different personality”. Keep in mind that Deandre was still YELLING “bye” and putting his hands in our faces with the manager standing beside him. Deandre kept saying that we were rude but the ironic part is we never even spoke with him and he wasn’t even the person that we paid; therefore, no one could’ve been rude to him. The manager expressed no care that these actions of his employee were occurring right behind him. When walking out of the store the employee walked over to the window and stuck up his middle finger and began slapping his behind at us. I’m in disbelief that employees are allowed to act this way. We will never eat here again and will make sure to tell others about this experience. I hope that someone takes this seriously and addresses this employees actions.

Owned by Craig and his wife, this particular store has a different atmosphere about it than other locations. Craig and his family take pride in their work and in keeping their store always ready for their customers. When you walk in, you're greeted with friendliness and fee right at home. They support other local community organizations and have been awarded the Excellence in Operations in 2015 and 2016. I've seen local high school students working here and they are always friendly and exhibit the culture do believe Craig and his wife instill. As a chain, you do pay more than you would at other locations, but the quality of the ingredients makes it understandable. My personal favorite is the grilled club.
