Was amazing when opened.

It used to be a 1st Rate Movie Theatre in it's day. However, MANY CHANGES & Several different types of RENOVATIONS really RUINED this GRAND OLD MOVIE STRUCTURE!! With the MORAINE POINTE CINEPLEX up the road & the SAD FAILURE of CINEMA WORLD at CLEARVIEW MALL. "THE PENN THEATRE" Wasn't meant to SURVIVE in this CRAZY WORLD of Up-Dated Movie Plazas & Cineplexs! This Old Classic Movie House IS Sorely MISSED, but i guess NOT enough by BUTLER'S Movie Goers!!!
