They overcharge for everything they do. Not only are they most expensive for labor, they mark up the parts they use up to 95%. So that $35 part becomes a $70 part. Went there for a job that they quoted me almost $6500 for that I got quoted $2600 somewhere else. Not to mention, they take SO LONG to do ANYTHING. Getting new tires? Expect to spend 4+ hours there. Oil change? 2 hours or more. Save yourself time and money and just go elsewhere.

So took my car there for tires. I don't trust a lot of places with my car since I had bad experiences. But guy named Andrew works there and he hooked me up. Was nice, told me about all tire deals, told me about all the roadside assistance. Plus my car is really lowered and he made sure the car went in and out with out a problem. Car went in perfect and came out perfect. Rims that I had bought were put on with out a scratch. Deffintly recommend pep boys and make sure you go see Andrew. Not only will he make sure your car is done right by his great amazing team but he will make sure the car is taken care of.

I am a busy full-time student and worker who had purchased two new tires to be replaced in the front my 2007 Jeep Liberty since my old tires had been worn out. I asked all the questions that I felt were relevant to job being done such as the estimated time of the service as well as the rate for the job being done. As I am waiting, one of the service writers asks if I would like to switch my old back tires to the front and replace the new tires in the back, which I declined because the back tires did NOT need to be touched. I was completely ignored and my tires got switched anyway. I was later informed that it was the stores policy to put old tires in the front while putting the new tires in the back. Had I been informed of this early, I would not have agreed to have the service done. I've been scammed. I've been taken advantage of as a woman. I've been inconvenienced. I would not recommend for any person with sense to have service provided for them by Pep Boys.

I've come here for 3-4 years and I can't take it anymore. 3-5 hour waits for everything, even if no one else is getting their car worked on. Tires? 4 hours. Oil? 2 hours. Windshield wipers and headlights? 3 hours. Emissions? 2.5 hours. Theyre working slow to get a higher labor charge out of you. They dont respect your time or your car. They charge way too much for basic work and parts as it is. They don't even have a full staff to fix basic problems like fuses or electrical work. I've been trying for over a year to get an electrical diagnostic from these people. Every time I have ever come here it has been progressively more and more awful and it's just not worth it.
