Brought 4 new tires here yesterday w/ balance and alignment; noticed vehicle shaking when on highway which caused safety concerns. Called this morning to see if someone would be able to resolve the issue today. Was informed there was a 3hr wait time at 11:30AM and no appt available for today. Booked 2pm appt online and arrived at 1:50pm. Was informed “they can do what they want online and there will be a long wait.” No eta was provided. Polite staff and decent prices but would not get work done here again.
So, an oil change is $466 for parts and labor. I didn’t request the high price package but figured whatever. They didn’t even rotate my tires, and my car is worse now than before. I know the misfire code and what should have fixed it, but it’s actually worse now which leads me to believe that the wires on the new plugs are ruined. It’s not a coil pack. I hate being taken advantage of just bc I’m a woman who has an idea of how cars work. Would not recommend.
I really wanted to like this place. They had the best offer for tires and services that I could find, but listen to the reviews! I wish I would have paid extra to get my tires done correctly. Got my tires installed and aligned with an appointment and it took 1 hour and 45 minutes. They finished just before they closed at 6. I understand places are understaffed at times so I let it go. Started driving and immediately noticed how bumpy it was. I figured it may be due to new tires so I let it go for 2 days. It seemed to get worse and my dashboard began to rattle at high speeds so I knew something was up. Called and scheduled another appointment for the next day at 1 to get it resolved. Showed up and they said I could wait, but because of walk ins/drop offs that it would be a couple of hours just to have them re balanced. I was pretty mad at this point, but decided to reschedule with them because I knew I'd have to pay to go elsewhere. I figured they'd tell me to come back later in the day, but they didn't have an "appointment" until 2 days later while I'd be at work. How do I even know if you can see me then since appointments don't actually seem to mean anything? Decided to go to Tire Choice down the road to get my vehicle done correctly. The techs there were friendly and awesome! They also told me they balanced my tires incorrectly and didn't even do the front end alignment which I paid extra for mind you. They also gave my print outs of the vehicle as proof that it wasn't done correctly/at all.
Dont really know about the skills of the service but first non interaction wasn't a good sign. Made an appointment for 1pm. Got there at 12:55pm and nobody was at the front desk. Stood there in plain view of the window for 10mins with nobody approaching me. I made eye contact with employees in bay area but nobody came out to say hi or we will be with you shortly. Im patient so went to side window so they could see me and just waved at employee to let him know someone was at front desk. He just waved at me and went about his business. Went back to front desk and waited another 5 mins before I just left. An employee could have acknowledged me and told me they would be with me shortly. Never happened so went down the road and got my tire fixed in 20 mins. Wont be back there again if this is the customer service attitude.
Been to this location twice. The second time they were much first. However, they broke my spacer cup holder. Many people have worked on my car without remove that cup holder yet Pep Boys broke it , and just left it in my passenger seat.
Scheduled a 120 point inspection online. Appointment confirmed yesterday for 3:30 today. I arrive on time, and have to wait 20 minutes behind this person whose transaction is taking forever b/c he was unable to split a ticket or something only to be told that they can't even do 120 point inspection because the tech who would be able to isn't here. The staff is at least very nice and tried to find something that they could do for me, but still I don't think I'll use pep boys again in the future, ever.
They have switched over to a tire center only. Do not believe the pictures or location description. They have completely cleared out the sales floor and will only let you enter in the service center. They really should update their web site to reflect these changes. I hope I save someone a trip.
Ordered some tires from the Morse Rd. location and the website said I would receive a confirmation email in a few days when they ready to pick up. I never did receive a confirmation email. 10 days later from the ordering date I called about the status of the order. "Steve" told me that they had them. So the next day I drove to pick them up and "Dre" who seemed to have a little bit of an attitude said he couldn't locate them and they most likely got sent back to the warehouse because they sat there too long. I said they only sat there because I was never told they were ready. He told me to call back tomorrow and ask for Steve. Steve said yes they had them and they were there all along. Thanks Dre for giving a half a$$ effort and making me drive to and from your location twice. 2 hrs round trip for both days. I'll just have them shipped next time.
Honest, hard working staff. I was made to feel like I was home in a very nice waiting room. My entire visit was very pleasant.
The mechanics here were so helpful! We had a bent tire rim and they quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it easily. Awesome service!
