Performance Tire and Service

I bought a set of Mastercraft Cooper tires from Performance Tire and Auto in September of 2017. At the time my vehicle had 139,000 miles on it. I paid roughly $550 for the tires plus the added $80-85 for insurance on them. After driving on the tires for 10,000 miles I noticed the insides of the front tires were going bald and the metal wiring was exposed. I took them in to Performance Tire and Auto to have them take a look and they told me I had an alignment issue which is why they were bald. This of course is not covered under the extra cost I paid for insurance and at the time of putting the tires on the car there was no indication from any staff member at Performance Tire that I had any alignment issues. The staff member I spoke with said that on their receipt they noted some "loose suspension joints" but this was never brought up to me after having swiped my credit card on the new tires. My biggest frustration is not that I'm going to have purchase new tires after only getting 10k out of them, I am more upset about the customer service I received at this shop. For someone who comes in and takes time to buy a nice pair of tires with insurance on them, come back with bald tires after 10,000 miles (on tires that are rated for 75k), then get pointed to the door with no compensation, replacement or explanation is completely ridiculous. The only "settlement" the staff member could provide was a "good deal" on some new tires. At this point I'd rather pay full price to someone who cares more about their customers than a couple hundred bucks.

They are the epitome of great customer service. Everyone is so nice, so respectful, so accommodating; I love coming here. They always help me even when I show up or call at the last minute with no appt...with a super quick turn around time.

Have been doing business with Performance Tire for years. I have purchased many sets of tires and have had my cars serviced here. Performance Tire is a family business. They make an effort to get to know you and make sure you are satisfied with their services and products. It is worth it to pay them a visit even if they may be off your beaten path.

Very good customer service and I received a quality used tire both times I have been visited this location. It was a bit more expensive than other used tires and sometimes there is a wait because they are busy however they still provide quick-service considering how busy they are. $52 for a 265 70r 16

The people at performance tire are always kind and honest with their service. Every time I go to get my tires rotated and balanced they always have me in and out in a timely fashion and everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable. I drive all the way from midtown out to Bartlett because of how awesome they are. I highly recommend them!
