I love taking my little girl Katana to Casey and Karla! They do the most amazing work and treat her literally like the beautiful princess she is. She is just a puppy but they are so gentle that she runs into the salon as is so excited to see them. She always comes back smelling perfect and with the most amazing cut. It's often hard for groomers to get that long hair cut look correct but Katana was perfect!! Thanks so much for sharing your talent guys! I would recommend these ladies to anyone!

Very displeased. When I picked up my dog, she had a gash on her ear that they tried to repair with liquid bandage. Cleo is 5 years old and this was not her first haircut. This was my first and last time at Pet Palace.

Pet Palace is a wonderful place to bring your pet. They offer the most compassion and care when it comes to dogs with behavioral issues, elderly, or new puppies. My dog loves to be there and always comes home prancing and happy. I recommend them to everyone i know that has a dog or a cat. Karla is a wonderful groomer and her other employee is also a very good groomer. There was even an occasion when i couldnt get my dog in during normal business hours and Karlas other groomer said that she would stay late so that she could get my dog in. I love pet palace and think it is the best pet grooming salon in all of Fargo/Moorhead.

I used their service for the first and only time today, I was met by two people who worked there. One of which had great size earrings protruding from her lip. I expressed my concern about my cat ahead of time prior to our visit, he is a bigger fussier cat and explained my problems with my cat’s mats. I walked into the place already feeling bad about the mats he had. They quickly explained that they have seen worse and mentioned something to the fact that, “It’s not that bad, you should have seen the last customer’s.” Their unprofessionalism was evident within my first 5 minutes in the building.
Throughout the “rush through” effort, an effort that usually takes over an hour the other places I have been to, they were done in roughly 25 minutes. Despite me hinting at coming back to comfort my cat while he was making sounds I have never heard in the 12 years I have owned him, I mentioned, “He usually doesn’t make these sounds when we do this.”
I am going to overlook the cat that they had walking freely that swatted and hissed at me in the waiting area. I am a cat owner I understand them and don’t find the company at fault for that. I didn’t torment or try to belittle the feline in anyway, if you are wondering. I do have a problem with the dog and the cat they had walking around freely in the workroom while they tended to my cat who has limited experience with other cats and NONE with dogs or the amount of other animals hair that was on the floor
.
I have met few cats that like to travel anywhere including a pet groomers. I wish the company realized this as well. I am all for pets but it may be a little traumatizing for some animals, is the potential extra stress of other animals walking around them while being out of their enviornment really needed?
I felt bad about my cat’s hair condition. Despite them telling me, “It wasn’t that bad”, I still felt bad. They mentioned about a blister getting knicked with the clipper. Sometimes mats lead to sores underneath them. Again I feel bad about that, but you’d think they’d slow down a bit grooming knowing this. Also, there was 3 separate razor cuts on his tail, which didn't have any mats or hair problems.
They are a company, they provide a service, they accept money. They are not professional, though. I did some quick research on the internet and saw an employee holding up the hair of some animal in a picture on a popular social media website with the description: “This is what happens when you don't brush your pets. This came off of a Persian cat we groomed today. Please, if you own a cat or a dog or anything with long hair, BRUSH IT”. (I can prove this upon request). It didn’t look like mine, but that is not the point. It was also hard to tell whose it could be, as it appeared they hadn’t swept the floor all day and there were coats/hair from multi-animals on the floor. Why not have integrity and offer some professional advice to your customers instead of taking pictures and and/or talking about them behind their backs.
For every concern I had they had a quick answer, which makes me think they’ve been asked these questions before. These are just my opinions, though. However these are reasons why I won’t use them again, you are free to do as you wish. I don’t want my money back, I just want you to spend your’s wisely. They’ll get the job done quickly, that’s about it.

Learn to properly talk to someone on a phone. Professionalism isn't just for the in-person moments.
