Did not advertise proper price on the sticker with correct product information. Register rang up for $20 more than advertised price. I questioned it because I didn't see that high of a price on any of their products in that line. Female employee was rude after I physically showed her no where in that line of products was anything listed at that price point. And showed her that the product I picked out showed the $39.99 not $59.99 quite a difference. She said "those shouldn't be there" and began ripping off all of the stickers. Wouldn't meet their advertised price until I told her that legally she should because that is false advertisement. Those prices had been the same last week as well. Not good service from this employee was rude when I showed her that they were in the wrong.

Bug store, good selection but staff isn't always helpful or easy to find. When you do find them they aren't always the most helpful or friendly. I only go there to get Petco limited fuel dog food. Rewards program is a complete waste of my time as most other products are completely overpriced

I love this Petco. The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is because Pets Are People Too is a better option for many things, and also locally owned! That said, this Petco has an advantage over some other's in that it is right near a vet med school, and several staff are veterinary students. That's super helpful when you need advice.

Normally we have a very good experience here! Very helpful people work here!! However, this review is based on a recent purchase (and not our usual amazing experience with the store and staff). We spent around $5 for a container of what was supposed to be 36 crickets (vita-bugs). When we picked them off the shelf we could see a couple crickets through the side of the clear container and thought nothing of it, as in our experience most of the crickets hide in the egg carton-like structure in the container. When we got home and opened the container, there were only 2 crickets in it. Luckily, for our frog's sake, we have some worms for her to eat this week until we can get back to the store. The nearest pet store is around an hour away from where we live, so it is not easy to find time to get there. Just disappointing that these were not checked and taken off the shelf or heavily discounted.
