I spent four years working in Vietnam years ago and was delighted to find this restaurant in Bay Ridge. I ordered the bun cha gio thit nuong, which was one of my favorite dishes in Vietnam. Tasty dish!
I really enjoyed number 9 on the menu. It’s my favorite. I recommend adding the sauces in the bottles it makes the pho taste even better. Take it from my friend who does not like pho and added the sauces and enjoyed it Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
First time trying and will be the last time. $34 for two people lunch. Ordered two #1 pho, small portion with some beef and pork slices only, no tendon, no tripeit says 6 different meats on the menu, soup flavor is below average. Also ordered Vietnamese spring rolls, not crispy on the outside but chewy, and taste bland with sauce.
This place used to be good but the food has really gone downhill. The pho xe lua is so small now and they charge $12. It’s bland and there’s barely any beef or noodles. There is absolutely no way this is a whole day, slow simmered broth. I don’t think I even got any tendon or tripe. Pho best in queens has double the portions for the same price. And it’s better quality and more flavorful.
Been here so many times and I am sure I wrote a review before but apparently it's gone. Here to an updated review. Pretty typical pho spot similar to one you will find in Chinatown and same price. Finding a spot is quick, we are starving. We got the house tea instantly and our menu. going for our regular, the wait is about 5 minutes for our food. I was amazed. Pho is amazing. I wish they can put a little more meat and broth thou. Spring roll is freshly fried and totally worth it. This place is pretty big and good enough for a big group. The place can get loud with long of people but you don't have to scream.
Conveniently located steps from the R train station on 86th St. and 4th Avenue in Brooklyn. The dishes are very tasty, well prepared, and reasonably priced. It is not a fancy place by any means, it is a bit worn and could use a facelift, but the good food is the most important feature. Mexican music videos playing in the background, which make it quirky and so very Brooklyn!
The vietnamese star of bayridge. Do yourself a favor and get some nice food there. Tasty, affordable, fast and relaxing. I really enjoyed the vietnamese pop music videos on the background. Never thought Vietnam would have such high production values and well developed plots on their pop music scene.Food: 5/5
Came in with my daughter for dinner, and the service was absolutely horrible. We stood at the door waiting to be seated, another couple came in after us and they were immediately greeted and were about to be seated when we spoke up to let them know that we had been waiting. The lady that sat us put us in the corner and asked if we wanted water or tea, she brought it over and took Our order. We both ordered pho and when it came out it was barely lukewarm and the broth was unflavored. We looked around for spoons and there was none to be found. We had to wave someone down to get them to bring them over. Not one time did someone come by to see how our food was or to see if we would like to order drinks. We again had to try to get someone’s attention just to get drinks. Horrible food, horrible service.
I ordered through seamless and although the food is good what I didn’t like was the response s worker told me Apparently the delivery person was at the wrong address and text me to say my food was downstairs which was impossible because I was standing right in front of my job I work at NYU. When I called the restaurant to let them know about a possible missed delivery, the person on the phone had the AUDACITY to tell me “it’s not my responsibility if the delivery guy lost your order” EXCUSE ME?!!!! I paid for that food! So it is indeed your responsibility to make sure I get what I paid for! So long for this restaurant. Food is good but the customer service SUCK
The pho soup here is the best. The soup is the most tastiest soup I have ever tried! Add some lemon to it and it will multiply its flavor. If you want to try pho check this place out. They even offer you tea before the meal. The price is OK, but not super cheap. Remember tips.
