Pinellas Technical College - Clearwater Campus

It would be nice if the instructors actually taught class. I really can't wait till my husband is done with this adult daycare place because they constantly milk us for money we don't have. They have probably milked us for close to 2000 dollars now but he hardly gets any help from instructors. Of course if you're brown nosing the one instructor you'll for sure get help. The place is very grade school atmosphere and the admin people are just as bad maybe worse. Most of the admin people act as if they have an attitude problem if you ask for help or make a complaint. Find a better tect school than this one if you're looking to succeed.

Registration was easy. Had plenty of help with my grant paperwork. Teachers are great. Being able to work at your own pace is the best part.

Enjoyed learning in different programs from this campus. Seem to be even more student oriented which is great! Do wish that instructors did not know how a course was paid for just so there's never a bias. Staff here actually cares about students and always remain respectful.

I'm currently enrolled with this school and would not recommend it. As someone has stated the school is very much like a high school. I decided to enroll in classes here to assist with obtaining my IT certs, but I don't feel like I have learned much at all. I do currently have one instructor that's hands on, but all-in-all the program and how the school conducts things is very immature in general. Besides the one instructor, the other two I have encountered didn't teach anything AT ALL. You pretty much study on your own. It's seems they are much more stuck on attendance; body in seat equals money for the school. Avoid this school and enroll with a community college if you are unable to afford university rates. I gave them 2 stars because I am actually accomplishing reading, etc while in class.

I go to the Computer Systems and IT course and the instructor is very helpful and the class is very friendly, same for the rest of the college staff and atmosphere alone, but it was a pain to enroll and have to take the tabe under-aged but after that it was off to the races so to speak!
