Great 5 mile trail for hiking and mountain biking. Nice views of the Sierras.

Great five-mile loop through pinyon and juniper. Sweeping views of the Carson Range, Carson Valley and the Pinenuts. The trail is clear and well-marked. The top loop could easily be repeated to make an eight-mile trail. Great for hiking, trail-running and mountain biking. Great place to catch sunrise or sunset.

Excellent trail to get warmed up on for the bigger rides in the area.
