Went snowshoeing here last spring, and it was fun to explore. Most people stayed near the parking lot. The only ones I saw on the trail were ocassional snowmobilers

Went snowshoeing early December along Genoa peak road and the TRT trail about 3 mi in for a small loop. The trail is fairly well marked despite snow coverage and there are some scenic views of lake Tahoe.

Nice trails, rough road right before the entrance.  Directions for trails pretty okay.   Could use better maps.   Nice scenery!
