Pontiac Lake State Recreation Area

Nice selection of shaded and open sites. Friendly staff, relaxed setting amongst the woods yet close enough to restaurants and grocery stores, very much enjoyed our stay. White Lake Inn is a short drive away, good place for a meal that's right on the waters edge.

Beautiful lake and views. Get you state pass to save on the entrance fee. Spend a half hour or half the day and sooth your soul. Huge parking lot. Water pump to fill your water bottle and quench your thirst. Mother nature is all her glory. You'll come more than once.

I went for memorial day. It was nice, I just never enjoy the explicit music played from other people but you can always just put on your own music. Great time with family.

Very nice camp sites, big enough not to be right up against your neighbor. Bring a long extension cord especially if tent camping, some time the level ground is far from electrical access. Friendly staff and park rangers.

We go camping there all the time. We like that there is a shower area and real bathrooms. There is a drive to the beach but its a nice clean beach. There is also a archery area, plenty of hiking trails, a volleyball area, and a horse area.
