I travel from coast to coast for work and here at Putters I found the Best Prime Rib sandwich I have ever had. I was recommended to putters by an employee at the hotel across the street. I went in for lunch and had such a tasty Burger that I decided to come back for dinner. I ordered the Prime Rib sandwich and was expecting a thin sliced Dip style sanwich instead I was surprised to see a thick, tasty, and tender slice of prime rib steak stuffed between a large bun. The service is great also, friendly staff that checks on you constantly. If I am ever back this way again I will for sure be back.

It is hard to spot this place from the main road as it is behind an old Howard Johnson’s. There is indoor and outdoor seating. It is run by a couple of brothers. Everyone is very friendly. Full bar available. TV for games. It appears to attract the Wake Forest students and their parents. I originally went with a friend for drinks but went back with my family for some food. The potato sins & mozzarella sticks were great. I got a burger that was cooked just right with my favorite toppings. My daughter got a buffalo wrap and loved it. My wife got an amazing Steak sandwich, definitely going back for one myself. My friend states the steaks here are amazing, I will have to have one soon. I loved the laid back atmosphere and can see this as a great spot to catch a game with friends. Thanks Aaron for putting me on to this place!

Great little place to eat in Winston-Salem near Wake Forrest University. Had a good burger, just wish I could have had it medium rare instead of medium well which is required.

Rarely does a week go by that I don't eat there. The food is always great and I haven't had a better steak at any Winston Salem restaurant. Their wings are the best, large sized and the sauces are unique and flavorful but I prefer the hot.

The food was decent, service was better BUT I wouldn't go out of my way to return.
