Town & Country Restaurant

I have been here about 10 times and I think they are very very inconsistent. The first time I was ever there I tangled with a waiter who tried to shut my blinds instead of moving his customer. No, I like sunlight! However, the staff after that have been wonderful and funny and great servers. My very favorite is their prime rib YUMMY. Food is a bit hit or miss which is why they have 3 stars but this is worth driving from Winston or somewhere else for. One of the better of the few restaurants in King. Lower my stars. Last night went there and waited 45 minutes for food and 15 minutes til we had a server. Don't have time for that on a Monday night! Someone needs to move in, open another restaurant and give them a run for their money!

Had the fish and chips. Really good fish and chips. Wait staff is really nice and pleasant. Probably going back soon if I can help it

A few years back Town & Country was forced to rebuild after a major fire. Thankfully, no one was hurt and the restaurant that arose from the ashes is a force to be reckoned with. We eat there regularly and the experience is always good. They do a great job of taking care of you. I have vendors who insist we eat at T&C anytime they’re in the area. One friend from Charlotte considers it a hidden gem. I couldn’t agree more. I’ve included a photo of one of my favorites, Shrimp and Grits. It’s a Southern thing, done right at Town & Country. This was my second time going there. I was looking for a nice place to bring my parents when they came to visit. I have driven past it many times without stopping. But I won't do that again. Because they are awesome.

Great french fries and burgers. The chicken burrito thing is huge but could be spicier. That burrito was big enough for 4 people to eat.
