Must pay in advance. They do good work but dont expect them to clean or polish like older cobblers use to. Unless you request and pay more. Dangerous intersection. Hard to see from road.

I'm not one to leave negative reviews for anything but I wanted to share my (frustrating) experience. I dropped off a purse to have the straps shortened. Super easy splicing job, or so he told me. Each time I showed up thinking it was finished, my delicate leather purse lay buried and misshapen under a large mound of other shoes and purses awaiting repair. I was shocked. He kept telling me it would be done in a couple days...and then a couple more days... and to check back. I thought I'd start calling ahead and save myself a trip in town if I could, but they never answered their phone (always have to leave a message). My couple day splicing job turned into 6 weeks and multiple wasted trips to the store to check on it. When my purse was finally finished, the length of the straps was wrong (because he failed to ever write down the requested length). Talk about a very exhausting and frustrating experience. :(

He doesn't even deserve 1 star. He resoled my Justin Ropers. They were in excellent shape. Had to pay him in advance. Kept my boots much longer than he said. When he resoled the boots, he pulled them so tight I can no longer put the boots on my feet. We have brought them back numerous times to get them stretch to no avail. He even made the comment that my feet had grown bigger. I have had these boots for a long time and have never had a problem wearing these boots. He wouldn't give my money back for ruining my boots. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I work for a shoe company and get calls about getting shoe repair and I don't recommend him.

Like other posted reviews, I too felt "victim" to so called "Quality" shoe repair. Dropped off two pairs of shoes in early November, the owner said it'd be no problem and that they'd be done in two weeks, totally fine. I have been back since, it is now almost Christmas, and each time it is, "They'll be done by Wednesday at 4:30." Or, my personal favorite, "I haven't gotten to them yet but they'll be done in about two days." No explanation, excuse, apology. Just a simple, no, I haven't even gotten to them yet. I still haven't received them but I informed him that they WILL be done before Christmas otherwise I am demanding a full refund. Buyers beware, I guess the only way this guy stays in business is through schmucks like me believing him and forking over the cash. I personally will not be back.

Cut heels down on a pair of 3-1/2 inch heels. Very pleased - a job well done. Had to make 2 trips, but I did pick up the same day.
