Village Cobbler Shoe Repair

Went to get a purse strap fixed. The work done was quite good as it was torn nearly all the way through and the leather used for the patch was a very close match. The reason a star was removed was that we were told to return after 5 days to pick up the bag. However on arrival we were told they required an additional 3 days. A simple phone call would have been sufficient for a 5 star review. They do good work and I would recommend this place for leather repair services.

The value of the work is top notch. The speed of turn around isn't so great. He wanted $30 or so for new soles, but I needed heels too (dirty high arches), which cost me $41 total. The shoes came back (after an ex

What a disappointment. Don't bother with these guys if you actually want somehig fixed. I dropped off two items and waited over a week longer than the pickup date on my ticket. So the guys had two weeks instead of their proposed one week deadline. When I came in to retrieve my items today the owner (?) asked me to return the following day. No apologies or anything. Never even bothered to call and let me know to wait. So instead I wasted a lunch juggling my toddler around St Matt's for the hey of it. Worthless business and completely unprofessional.
