Best place for drunk munchies, the deli in the rear of the store is a gem. We got two 12 inch New Orleans Roast Beef sandwiches, so good. Also got some of the little crawfish pies, super cheap, buy a couple.
Quarter Grocer has all the basics you need to get you through an attack of hunger. There are lots of basics you'd find at any given convenience store, plus a weirdly sizeable selection of spirits. Prices are pretty normal. I didn't see anything that was obviously marked up because of the location. It's a pretty compact store so expect to need to shift around people if you're sharing the aisle.
Surprise Surprise.. this place is a hidden gem. It's a convenience store with a kitchen in the back. The staff is great.. super friendly and professional. Mike, at the register, is a absolute delight. He always has a smile and always makes me glad I stopped in. Key, in the kitchen, is an amazing chef. He's always been awesome, friendly and makes me feel welcomed and appreciated. The two of them create such an atmosphere of personalized experience.. wonderful people indeed. I've tried much of the menu at this point as I frequent this store about 3 times a week or so. The food is simply delicious. No matter what I order. It's always fresh, never greasy and the portions are quite generous. Prices are reasonable, especially considering its location and the store is always very clean. Color me impressed
It’s truly a local gem with the best poboys & fries you can find in NOLA! Their menu has a variety of options
Greetings from the 305. The Quarter market and deli is the bomb..The Owner and staff are super nice and most accommodating. The gumbo is so good it will make your toes lock up!! Red beans snd rice… off the chain goodness with every bite. With that said I cant even begin to tell you about the po-boys. Delicioso!
I simply asked for a gumbo with no rice. The young guy taking orders in the kitchen need to come from out the kitchen. He doesn't pay attention. I order a cheeseburger with the same guy and he F'd that up by including tomatoes and no lettuce when I asked for no tomato and he didn't put the lettuce. I'm disappointed! I come here all the time...
Great neighborhood grocery and deli, small but have some interesting things and great prices. This was my go to place while working in the French Quarter. French bread is super fresh, light, crusty and soft in the inside. Really worth it if you are walking around this neighborhood everyone!
It’s very hard these days to get a reasonably priced po-boy in the French Quarter, but Quarter Grocery’s got ‘em! The hot sausage and fried shrimp are good options, and the crawfish pies are pretty good too. From a grocery perspective, lots of beers, wine, and liquor to choose from, as well as things like eggs, milk, etc. Check it out!
Did not disappoint, I got the shrimp Po-Boy. Order took longer than what people waiting claimed.
The restaurant in this place is a gem! You would never know that such delicious hot beef sandwiches would come out of this tiny store! I highly recommend getting one.
