I wonder if the bad reviews are from people experiencing great service with minimum wait time wanting to keep this gem for themselves, because although it’s a 5 minute walk from home the reviews kept me away. I’d travel 30 minutes by subway to another location and this one was perfect. I’ve never had a draw that didn’t leave my arm bruised and sore for days after. THIS WAS DIFFERENT!! She picked a vein on the outer part of my arm and I barely felt a pinch. She kept the needle steady and didn’t need to puncture me multiple times. Seen 9 minutes after checking in despite there being a waiting room with 5 walkins waiting. Will be returning for future visits.
We took our 2.5 year old today to this Quest Diagnostics and Gladys was great. She made my daughter laugh and we felt immediately at ease. We have had a lot of traumatic bloodwork and were nervous taking a toddler but she was really quick and efficient even amidst some tears. Will be coming back. Thank you!
Came here on my lunch break and after reading the reviews, I was nervous that I wouldn’t make it back to work on time. To my surprise it was so easy and quick. The whole visit took 10 minutes. Giselle drew my blood and it didn’t even feel it. Big shout out to her!
Nice staff but unprofessional phlebotomist. The phlebotomist was doing my intake and drawing my lab work while she was on a personal call. Really? Then, I was told I had to pay my bill upfront because Quest stopped mailing statements to customers a few months ago, which wasn't true. What is going on?
WASTED MY TIME AND AN UBER RIDE BECAUSE YOUR OFFICES ARE CLOSED TODAY? Do us a favor and add that you’re not open on your website and/or update Google OR let your automated system notify your clientele because this was asinine to go through today.
Came to this location after having a difficult experience on another one; and they were wonderful! They were super fast and their staff was friendly, they made sure I got the test needed and overall great experience.
Roxanne is a class act. A truly kind and skilled professional. I came in confused about my order for blood work/insurance. She helped me sort it out and also made the necessary phone call to confirm the order. Once confirmed, she effortlessly drew my blood--didn't feel a thing- and sent me on my way. On a Thurs around 11a, place was empty! I highly recommend you schedule the appointment in advance and I hope you get Roxanne she's the BEST!
My daughter went to Advantage Care for her yearly physical which requires blood work. The normal that’s done every year for everyone. Quest is on the same floor; a few feet away; as Advantage Care. As usual, my daughter goes to the Quest Room, with her lab form, signs in and waits. She’s under my insurance which is Federal Employee BCBS. She’s called to get her blood work done and is asked if she has BCBS. She says yes and was told she has a $100 copay. We’ve never paid anything for blood work to be done. It’s always billed to the insurance as it’s covered by the insurance. My daughter was told she could not get her blood work done without paying that copay. I called my insurance and asked was this correct procedure and was told of course it’s not, it’s covered under my insurance and in any event there’s issues, it always go through the insurance and they go from there and they are not allowed to refuse blood work being done. Of course my Insurance Representative couldn’t reach them at the number listed because it goes directly to the Quest hotline, not the actual office. The Nurse and Nurse Administrator had to inquire on what Quest was doing due to many patients experiencing the same issue and again was told they did not have the authority to refuse blood work or charge patients a copay for blood work by Quest billing department. So what’s really going on over there? I have my yearly physical coming up and my daughter will be returning with me to get her blood work done and this situation cannot happen again. Honestly, I miss the previous employees who were there.
I found the place to be unprofessional!! Loud talking and music . One attendant jabbed a needle into my arm so much that I screamed!! Never have I had that experience! Another person called in to help left me with a black mark in her attempt to place the band on my arm!! It was just awful ! I was finally helped by a man who very expertly drew the needed blood! Supervision is definitely needed at this site!
Service is slow and inefficient. Maybe they are understaffed but doesnt explain the rudeness when I asked if the wait was going to be much longer. Corporate obviously doesnt read reviews or visit their locations undercover. If ever there was a need for an overhaul of systems and best practices this is a perfect example. Be prepared to wait !
