Quest Diagnostics Shiloh

I've been to this location 3 times so far and have been treated wonderfully each time. The first time their system was having issues but I felt very taken care of by the friendly and professional staff. It's always a quick in-and-out experience. I tend to go when it is not busy and have never waited longer than 5 minutes. The facility is also very clean and modern with nice chairs that make blood drawing easier for the techs and patients. Would definitely recommend.

Tech did not know what she was doing. Tourniquet was way to tight, my arm was throbbing before the stick, she shoved it so hard in and had to pull back to get the tube to fill. I could feel it hit my muscle along with every time she switched tubes. When she was done my fingers were tingling for over the 30 min it took to get to work, when that stopped my bicep started aching. I iced it for a while, second day my bicep bruised on the interior side (when I was stuck more towards the exterior of my arm) and hurts to straighten my arm. Worst experience I have ever had, won’t be back even if it was quick.

Quick and friendly. But the tech push the needle through the vein and then pull back. Bad technique. You are suppose to push slowly into the vein. I work out and have huge veins, there is not need to push through.

I have nothing but positives for my visit. The med tech took time out of her day to call my Dr. after my 3rd trip out there to get the order and she handled me with the utmost professionalism, was kind and courteous. In and out the door quickly with an appt. NO COMPLAINTS and I hate needles!

Both times I have been at this lab had a terrible experience! First time, took five different people until one could get my sons blood and the second I waited for 2 hours after coming back (made me wait again) Terrible service and very unfriendly
