Looking for the Fenn treasure here and it is amazing! Be prepared though, the roads are very rocky and bumpy on the way in. Takes a long time to get into the heart of the forest. Need 4-wheel drive. Lots of deer, elk and other animals. Very beautiful and peaceful area. Will be going back again.

Basically a rest area with access to a pretty little desert trail running along the canyon's rim. There are tons of bossy signs everywhere that seemed truly excessive. There are vendors selling jewelry/pottery near the trail entry. The parking spaces are ridiculously tiny and limited considering how large this site is.

If you can walk a mile, you have to see this place. Even if you're not up for hill climbing or a 5 mile hike, you can walk on we'll kept trails on the valley floor and get a feel for this amazing place that has been inhabited for 10,000 years. If you get the opportunity to visit, take it. If you're up for longer hikes there's plenty more to see.

If you walk across the Rio Grand Gorge Bridge you are most likely not afraid of heights. You never know what you will see around here. There is often a market with many of the pueblo residents on the north side of the highway and the west side of the river. Many wonderful treasures can be found here from osha root, hand crafted knives, and handbags to beautiful turquoise jewelry and food trucks.

Goodness to grace, that top to bottom view bout tripped my gizzard. I was not prepared to get that vertigo chill, but I guess I had to walk on into the sky to know. Really got the willies looking so far down that drop to the water. It just ain't natural to be there, defying gravity and such. But I was sure glad for the bridge and to be able to cut so many miles off. Just next time, I am crossing on an empty stomach.
