Rainy Day Books

Yeah it’s small, and yeah the staff will ask you if you need help finding something more then once. They are passionate about their jobs, and they are all sweet as hell. I love the help and I haven’t had a single bad experience. All these single star reviews are from some jelly haters. Go on and get! We don’t need that negativity!

It's the ideal local bookstore. Nice, helpful staff and a good selection of old and new books and anything they don't have in the store they can special order at no extra charge. It's the only place I go for new books. They also sponsor special events throughout the month, including author visits and book signings

Overbearing, rude book pushers don't relent. Small store, small selection - overstaffed with nosy, domineering people determined to push you into a sale. I have never been so berated and talked at in my life. mostly childrens books, looks like a token selection of most other things and they exist on the "i can order that for you model" save your time and hassle and order from amazon. same service without the creepy hassle.

When accosted 3 times in under 5 minutes by the staff when looking for a book (including them peering on your phone as you compare your list vs their shelf to see which in a series you are lacking) it does not matter if they have the book at that point. I will not give money to such a group of intrusive people who lack boundaries
