Wow! What an experience! Mike is an amazing trainer. The gym was laid out great and it was very welcoming. His excitement for what he does is contagious. He expertly assessed my movement pattern and was able to show me significant improvement in one session. I knew Mike years ago and I'm extremely impressed with how deeper his knowledge goes. I love Raw Fitness. I've worked out at several places in my 44 years. I've never had results like this in such a short time. I entered the Lake Ready fitness challenge with the hopes of just getting into better shape. I had no idea that I would end up winning the competition by losing over 11 lbs of fat and gaining over 7lbs of muscle in 5 weeks. I was so impressed with my results that I joined the gym permanently. The trainers and staff are knowledgeable and welcoming. I joke that it's like going to your local bar to work out. Everyone knows your name. I feel like I've made some great friends.

If you are looking for a personal trainer in the Lake Norman/Cornelius area, look no further. The personal trainers at Raw Fitness have everything you need to achieve any of your fitness and nutrition goals! Mike, Scott and Devin are awesome. I have been going to Raw Fitness since Day 1 and am very happy with the workouts and fitness support I receive - every day I go and look at the Goal Wall is inspirational!! I would definitely recommend Raw Fitness above other gyms which are just concerned about numbers and getting more memberships. Mike and the team at Raw care about you as a person and will do anything to help you achieve your goals!

One year ago I weighed over 200 pounds, was having issues with my heart, my blood sugar, suffered with panic attacks and bouts of depression. I walked through the doors of Raw Fitness and my life was forever changed. After meeting and talking with Coach Mike I jumped in with both feet and within that first week of working out with the trainers, I knew that after 16 years of struggling to lose weight, this time was going to be different. Within the first month I was losing inches, body fat, gaining muscle, and feeling that I was finally gaining control of me again! After YEARS of taking spin classes,step, killing myself on the elliptical, and numerous other exercises, THIS was actually working and it was something I looked forward to doing! Fast forward from February 2013 to February 2014, and I can happily say I have maintained a weight loss of 60 pounds, built muscles I have never seen or felt before, and am in the best shape of my life (and I'm pushing 40). I went from a size 14/16 to a size 4 in just 6 months. Being where I wanted to be on the outside is an extra benefit. What has changed on the inside and with my health are invaluable. My heart issues went away, I can sleep at night, I know what it is like to have energy again, I can keep up with my kids and have been able to teach them by example to make healthy choices. I would have to say they are pretty proud of their Mama :) As a family we have run numerous 5k's this year, I was able to finish the 13 mile Spartan Beast with my husband beside me, as well as the amazing trainers (Crystal & Josh) and friends I have made at the gym, and have run two half marathons. When one year ago walking up a hill was a challenge...that's pretty awesome! If you want to workout somewhere where the trainers really care about helping you succeed in reaching your goals and actually see your gym membership working for you, Raw Fitness truly is 'Where results live'.
