Red Pepper Chinese Restaurant

I tried Red Pepper out for the first time tonight for take out. What a waste of money! The sweet and sour chicken and cream cheese wontons were delicious. The chicken fried rice was beyond bland and the sesame noodles were a joke. They use regular spaghetti noodles and poured a small amount of liquefied peanut butter on it. The beef skewers were puny and I only was given 5 out of the 6 for $13.00. You are better off going to Cathays or Crystal Garden where everything is delicious. You couldn't pay me to come back here.

Visited Red Pepper for lunch and ordered the seafood pho, which was excellent. Great service, good food, good price and a large menu - five stars.

The host was very friendly, the waitress was polite, the food was really good. I had the curry mai fun noodles; I ate my fill while we were there, and had enough for 2 lunches later that week. My husband and I went on a Wed. evening and were not alone in the restaurant, but it was quiet and calm, a really nice date night atmosphere.

The lunch menu is quite generous. The hostess was very attentive. A relaxing lunch.
