Residence Inn by Marriott Baton Rouge Siegen Lane

Horrible experience during our Christmas vacation! When we arrived the hotel smelled terrible, like cigarettes, old food and mildew! The staff remained very unprofessional. As i was entering the front door after walking to my car and the staff was behind the front desk playing rap music loudly and one of them was twerking right behind the front desk! The 24/7 hotel market had NOTHING to choose from! They were out of everything! The breakfast all together was a bad experience and the food was not very appetizing! Not to mention our room was a nightmare! It smelled just as bad as the lobby and halls! The bath tub had so much hair inside it and was clogged up really bad. While I was taking a shower the bath tub filled completely up! We only had one wash cloth too. The couch in our room was very dirty and worn out completely! There were roaches crawling around in the kitchen and mold on the roof and walls and the coffee was disgusting! Very old hotel! We had an awful experience and would not recommend this hotel to the homeless!

Hotel is nice. Friendly staff was very helpful. Although we only stayed 1 night.....the room is roomy/comfortable enough to stay much longer.

Clean facilities, nice outside pool, and good breakfast. No waffle maker at breakfast though, only downside.

Regina and Simone were both awesome! Simone went above and beyond her job duties to make sure that all my needs were met appropriately. And if she couldn't help me, she called on Regina who was able to see the task through. These two make an awesome team and their thoroughness was greatly appreciated.

I really enjoyed my stay. I wish they had better pillows and a king bed but for the most part I would definitely recommend and visit again.
