Nice small place. They will even hold a bar seat or two for you if you call ahead. Food was good. Got the gnocchi with shrimp. The shrimp we're slightly over cooked and the gnocchi was slightly soft. Still delicious though. Sitting at the bar makes the service a bit slower given only the one bartender but the staff is super friendly and helpful

Fresh, farm to table food that was perfectly prepared. So yummy! Definitely worth the trip! A must go! And the bartender is very inventive and fun to watch (we ate at the bar) she loves creating new cocktails too! Go go go!!!

Roots is always packed full. Very popular eatery so be sure you have a reservation. Staff is highly trained and personable. Like the name implies, good, healthy food.

Fresh, local and creative food, and they're celiac and food allergy friendly. So happy we found this place while passing through Rutland! My wife amd I are foodies and this was one of the best restaurants we've found in a long time, will definitely be back!
