Ruan Thai Restaurant

My husband and I tried this restaurant because of his love for Thai food and we were so pleased that we have returned back often. In fact it's almost the only restaurant that I will let him take me to anymore because of the flavor of the dishes, the freshness of the vegetables (I order everything vegetarian) and the personal service. We have never ordered anything we didn't love but our favorites are Pad Thai, tempura vegetables, Tom Yum soup, spicy noodle soup and any of the curry dishes. We also often take our children with us and they love the spicy flavors. My little 4 and 8 year old girls always order the yellow curry while my 15 year old son wants to try everything on the menu and all of it with extra spice. We dine there so often that the employees all know us and the cook always comes out to greet us before we leave. If Ruan Thai wasn't a 35 minute drive we would be tempted to eat there every day!

This is too funny not to share. I told myself "I really need to take some pictures of these dishes!" So I took a picture of the house salad and the inside of the restaurant... Then proceeded to just devour the entrees when they arrived. We started with the Golden Bag appetizers (cute, deep fried, and SO tasty!) and followed up with Pineapple Curry with Shrimp and Beef Massaman Curry. Both of the entrees are so full of flavor and sensual in every regard- just the right amount of spicy and sweet with a full dose of authenticity to top it off. This little bitty place is a "must visit" if you desire great Thai food and a cozy atmosphere. There's also an occasional Elvis impersonator- though I've been there for that. Enjoy!

Great food as always but service today was slow. They told me 20 minutes to pick up. I show up at 30 minutes and they have me wait another 10. Normally not this slow for dine in but take out seems to take forever. This is our second time with take out and same experience. Still the food is worth the wait

Such a great place! The food was delicious and fast and the customer service was incredible! My sisters have a lot of food allergies and they catered to them SO well! Our waiter was so incredibly friendly and attentive. One of our new favorites!

This restaurant and it’s delicious food was a pleasant surprise! We ordered multiple things from the menu -vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, all of which were extraordinarily flavorful! The food was served very quick and the staff was helpful in making accommodations! Will definitely visit again!
