Rumbi Island Grill

I recently picked up a burger and fries here for the first time and was sadly disappointed. I got the order to go and when I started to eat it after getting home was very disappointed. I was expecting a grilled burger, but this hamburger tasted like it had been fried in old grease and was actually rubbery in texture, the cheese even tasted old. I ended up throwing it away after 3 bites. Fr what I paid I would expect some quality! The french fries were so salty I could not eat them and they tasted like they had been scrapped off of the draining tray. The reason for two stars instead of one? The pineapple upside down cake was amazing. Live and learn!

I always really liked Rumbi because they offer a good for righty of food that usually someone can find that they'll eat, and they offer a good variety also of vegetarian and vegan options that are easy to customize. It's easy enough to get a rice bowl and they offer two sizes a half and a large though the large is only I think a dollar more and so it's easy to get the large and then take home the rest for leftovers. Last time I was there I got the one of the chicken salads but substituted the chicken for veggies and they were able to do that for me. It's things like that I really appreciate in a restaurant and make me go back and visit again. They also have a punch card with a free meal after 10 visits.

This is one of our all time favorite places to eat. The food is always great as is the staff.

Service was great. We got our food in a matter of minutes. Our chicken in our rice bowls were cold and tasted like they were cooked earlier that day. Which was surprising to me because this place is always amazing. Don’t think we’ll be back anytime soon.

Very consistent and good food. It is a chain but good for chain food. This location is typically clean and the food is prompt. They have some of the best sweet potato fries. One of the few places I will get them. They do free kid’s meals on Monday and Tuesday which is a huge plus.
