S'MAC East Village

It did not disappoint! Who wouldn't want to go to a restaurant that serves entirely macaroni and cheese! We walked in and were greeted by a man at the cash register who was so friendly and patient with our indecisiveness. He answered all of our questions and guided us to the smallest size portion since that would be enough for one person. I got the special's・the Philly steak mac's cheese and they nicely added mushrooms at my request. Although the portion looked small, it was definitely enough for me. It was creamy, and the ingredients, the meat, onions and peppers were large and chunky. I was impressed by the creativity of the menu and the variety of macaroni and cheese they had. I already can't wait to go back!

The place is nice. Cozy and Well decorated. Staff are friendly and helpful. They have really good menu and food is top notch. Recommend for all mac and cheese lovers. You won’t be disappointed. Its usually crowded, so prepare to wait a little

This review is solely based on service. I had seen this place featured on a tv program, and I wanted to try everything. Having traveled from another state, I ordered a sampler plate to go and was told in the NY rude manner "read the fine print"; which states "dine in only" on the price board, but not on the chalkboard where I saw it. If you have the option of take out, why isn't the sampler a part of that option? From the response alone, I was turned off from ordering anything else. A simple explanation and/or suggestion to something I could order to go would have come across better.

Love this Mac n cheese place! They had many delicious options and several vegetarian options. I also saw they had a vegan option which is nice when you have friends that eat all types of foods. I enjoyed a Mediterranean one that was interesting but different than the classic Mac n cheese taste. Definitely enjoyed it but if your looking for classic go classic! Excited to try this place again!

The food was incredibly good. There are ample options too for vegan, vegetarian or gluten free eaters. I was a little confused by the size options... The nosh option was definitely big enough for one.
