Egg Shop

I thought this place was very good. It is a bit small and it fills up very quickly, by 08:40 in the morning there was a queue outside the door, so get here early to secure a table. They offer a wide range of creative egg based dishes which are all very nice, well cooked and very fresh. The service is fast and attentive. It is quite a trendy establishment and I do feel it could do with being a bit bigger as it becomes cramped and it is hard for the waiting staff to move.

No breakfast (sandwich) is worth waiting for 2 hours of your precious life. When we left our name with the hostess, she told us the wait would be 45minutes or less. It took 1hour 35minutes to be seated, and then we still of course ordered food... The people who just we're seated in front of us had waited for almost 2hours The food itself was good, well above average even, but nothing so spectacular to warrant the wait. My friend had been there when it first opened, she said today they’re riding on their notoriety more than the level of quality of the food now. I'll say this: If there's a wait, don't bother. Go get on with your life! Grab a quicker bite somewhere else and then go visit all 5 floors of the Rubin Museum. Seriously, life is shorter than you might think.

Food was pretty decent, however wait time is very long for this cozy hot brunch spot. The first time I went there was around 12:30pm on a weekend, the staff told us to wait 90 min... we ended up going to other places after an hour wait. Tips: get there early and expect long waiting time; sign up the other brunch spots nearby just in case...

Great place and delicious food. The best I've had in a while. There was a long waiting list but what are you gonna do? It's a good place and it was a sunday.

I ordered takeout from here twice and the egg sandwich is pretty good, through unexpectedly spicy. The service is quick so it’s a pretty good place to order and pick up, but given its popularity and small size, eating there likely means waiting and delivery will probably take an hour. For what is ultimately a pretty basic breakfast, it is worth it for little to no wait but nothing more.
