Sacred Chow

The food is pretty delicious and generally healthy, but don't count on them opening up on time for lunch. Last time when I came at 11:30 am, I was told that the chef was at Trader Joe's shopping for the restaurant and the kitchen wasn't open yet. I waited for about twenty minutes, but lost patience. They need to get serious about their opening time and not falsely advertise a time they can't commit to! Walked past the place again and saw no one was inside at 11:20. Call ahead if you're headed there earlier than 12:30 to ensure that they are actually open. Overall, if you're vegan, like myself, I'd recommend giving this very small, relaxing place a try for dinner. The food is down to earth and yummy and the place is quaint.

We went to this cozy place for lunch today and relished their Red Curry Bowl, so fresh and delicious..Will visit again !

They have some really good sandwiches here, they also offer a 15% discount for NYU students.

This place was great -- all vegan food in a thoughtful environment where you're encouraged to think about the impact of preparing the food you're eating. While the service might seem a bit slow, it's because they're making your food fresh while yo wait -- and the food was absolutely worth the wait! It's a small space, so if you're going with more than 2 people, you might want to make a reservation.

Great dinner spot in the village for vegetarians! The menu is quite varied and covers Italian, Indian and American cuisine. My advice, take your time on the menu, there is a lot to look through. Enjoy!
