Staff always exercises great customer service & Sally's usually compliments customers with the best looking tote bags when purchasing a certain dollar amount in products.

I'm a DIY nail tech and I LOVE the Sally store. When I have to do something and need an item asap I can hop in my van and get what I need because there's a convenient location in just about every neighborhood.

Very good cashier, but inventory is not good.

They always have the hair products I need and the employees are helpful, sometimes.

I shop at this Sally's at least 2x a month and usually I have had great experiences here. I work at a salon across the street and have referred all my clients here when they need something. They know my face and know that I have kids and everything. One day I went in to buy products and the sudden urge to pee hit me. I asked her to use the restroom and I had the products that I was going to buy in my handstand set them on the counter. There was only one other shopper in the whole store. She said, "Sorry we don't have a public restroom." I said "pleeeease, its an emergency! You know me! I shop here almost every week!" In 6 years I have never asked them to use the Restroom! I didnt think I would make it to my car! She just looked at me and with no emotion, "It's against the rules." I understand rules, but wow, there should be some discretion when you have someone who patrons to the point you know their face! I am taking my business elsewhere and will never shop here again. It just was not right for her to treat another human being like that...especially one who spends as much money there as I do! Very disappointed with this particular Sally's on University Drive and will make it a point to drive anywhere else in Durham except there. They are also very slow with checking out there too.
