Salt River Tubing

This is an trip you have to take! Best experience ever! Bring alot of booze if your over 21 of course :P and bring friends and family. The more people equals more fun. Every time I go I always have a blast! Obviously the summer is the best time to go! You can bring your own or rent here.

If Salt River Tubing is going to offer daily floats down the Salt River, then they need to have a DAILY clean-up crew too! I've been paddling the Salt River for years and it gets worse and worse every year. Nothing more depressing than seeing a wild horse knee-deep in tuber's garbage. My kayak group and I had to clean the beach before we could hang out and we barely made a dent in the mess the Salt River Tubers create - glass, plastic bags, beer cans, and everything in between. They should shut down all the public hang out spots here and start jailing people who litter. The Salt River Tubing business should be funding daily clean-ups here if they're going to continue to promote this and profit from people trashing the place daily. I pay Tonto National Park a pretty penny for my annual parking pass, only to encounter mountains of trash and toilet paper (even though there are bathrooms right there and over 12 trash bins). Either increase your prices to deter the cheapskates from littering our lands and start doing daily clean-ups or us locals are going to push to shut down your business - this is unacceptable! I'm disappointing in your business and your nasty patrons. Salt River Tubing = Cheap thrills for low class trashy people - literally "trashy". Disgusting.

I had so much fun, come a bit early and be sure to bring your own booze. Preferably canned drinks so you don't have to risk then getting taken away. And perhaps a paddle to help you navigate the waters a bit. A great speaker also makes things more fun when you have terrific tunes playing. Be careful with the shallow parts

Highly recommend!! Everything was amazing. The staff were very helpful and friendly. A great way to spend the day! Just be sure to be careful when exiting at stop #4, the current is extremely strong and the rocks are quite slippery.

We had a blast! The scenery was beautiful. Moms got to relax and the kids had a great time. Helpful hint for first timers: Try to stay in the middle, otherwise you might run into some branches on the sides.
