I’ve been here many times and the taste and quality of the sushi is consistently exceptional. It’s now my “go to” place. They have a nice patio and the the interior dining room is comfortable with booths next to large windows. I highly recommend Sapporo 2!

This place had such great food, I really enjoyed their Sushi menu. They had a lot of great sushi for reasonable price which is kind of unusual to find in the area. The environment inside the restaurant was very intimate and clearly fit the needs of families as well as couples alike.

This is a very casual sushi spot which has a nice menu in addition to Very reasonably priced sushi rolls which are pretty good for not being next to a coast. In addition the saki and beer selection is good and reasonably priced. Very much worth checking out if in the area and looking for a casual spot

Excellent sushi and sashimi, reasonable prices, and attentive service. The hot dishes look and smell terrific but I have yet to try them. Not many good sushi places in midtown but this one is. Lunch specials are what I usually do as I work in that area but live West. I get an hour for lunch and I have always been able to get seated, eat, and back to work within that hour. If you like sushi give them a try. If you don't like sushi give them a try, as there many dishes to choose from that don't have sushi. Highly recommend!

The sushi was really, really good. We were a party of 12. We had drinks, a large sushi boat ($70, beautiful and delicious) and some miso, salad and dinners.
The service was pretty slow and not very organized. Our drink order was taken twice, first by a young man and then about 10-15 minutes later by a young woman. When he took our drink order at first, he didn't ask each person -- people sort of volunteered their orders one at a time and a couple of people engaged in conversation didn't get an order in. The bar was unable to make a couple of common drinks for us. I think the regular bartender was not there and maybe they didn't have a backup.
Same unclear and unassertive service with the dinner. I thought the sushi boat was an appetizer (albeit a big one), but some people ordered dinners and some didn't.
My miso was not nearly hot enough. They were out of the seaweed salad. The restaurant was not busy -- for most of our visit (7:30 on a Thursday) we were the only table.
The decor was nice, the place was clean.
I would return alone or with a friend or two. I would sit at the bar and enjoy the sushi, order too much, eat it all, and leave very happy.
