Don't believe the hype! The staff (Teachers) or terrific and you will gain alot of knowledge about HVAC/R. You also get hands on training in residential and commercial wiring. But, don't believe the hype. Other than the teachers TWS doesn't care about anything but your money. You will be lucky too land a job as an HVAC service Tech. Most companies require that you have at least 3 yrs. exp. Which means you'll probably end up being an HVAC helper crawling through hot attics installing duct work which they don't teach you. You will probably start out anywhere between $8 to $11 an hr. $11 if you're very very lucky. Your best choice is too enter the electric feild. And forget about job placement it only exist on the web page, so don't even waste your time. Go out and convince someone that you are interested in advancing your career in the HVAC feild. Telling a potential employer that you are an HVAC service tech will only draw a laugh esp. when you tell them you went too TWS. Oh, yeah this cost about $17,000.00 to attend.
