Calling Schendel in hopes of getting rid of the skunks under my porch was a waste of time and money. For starters, nobody cared about the severity of the situation -- I could not live in my house as the skunks had sprayed a vent into the house, and the smell went through all of the duct work and out every vent. I was told there would be two traps, and my contract shows that information, but Joe only put out one trap and didn't feel the need to inform me why before I called and asked. A few days after putting out the trap, Joe called and said that he drove by to check the trap and the cat food was frozen (I could've told you that would happen - it was less than 10 degrees that week!) and he was going to replace it. Again, I only received updates if I called him first. I was hoping that we could catch the skunks prior to having my house cleaned by Service Master, but after two weeks of hardly any communication unless I called requesting an update and no progress, I decided I couldn't wait any longer. I called Joe at Schendel for an update, and he asked me how I wanted to proceed. I had to bite my tongue... I'm not the pest expert; that's why I hired YOU! I asked him for his recommendation, and he said "I typically leave it up to the homeowner." That was the last straw. I decided to buy my own trap on Amazon as working with Joe/Schendel was getting me nowhere. I would never ever recommend your service to anyone; in fact, I make sure to mention the company whenever I tell anyone about my skunk situation.
