They will not tell you when they are closed due to painting, or contruction they will just close and not inform you. It would of been nice to know. I love antique cars and not to sound like a complainer but I drove 24 minutes each way which is 50 minutes all together. Kinda frustrating to get there and they are closed when you seen “ open” on their website. And when you try to call and no one answers but a voice mail says open.

What a great surpising find. We never expected the quality of the cars, judging by the outside of the building. Very interesting museum.

Outstanding museum like no other on the east coast. Make the effort to visit and plan on 2 hours even with your wife!

A lot bigger than it looks from the outside. Good way to kill an hour. Cheap admission. Friendly staff. Lego and coloring table for kids who loose interest in the old cars. Beautiful old cars. By the way, Seal Cove Road from Southwest Harbor is mostly gravel. You might want to take the long way around.

Very friendly people. I sure don't know much about old cars, and didn't really care for them before going, but they really were fascinating and interesting to look and learn about.
