It appears that Sears has discontinued Saturday service calls, which - since I could not take off from work - made scheduling my dishwasher repair somewhat difficult.  I have an older dishwasher and was assured by the representative on the phone that the repairman would have the replacement parts necessary right on the truck at the time of repair.  As it turned out, the parts are no longer made.  The serviceman had to improvise - which I must say he did magnificently.  He was meticulous and thorough in his work despite unanticipated obstacles and, by the time he finished work, I was more than satisfied with the outcome.

The Representative was friendly,  competent and possessed full knowledge about the product (Kenmore Elite Refrigerator's air filter).  He corrected the problem and reassured me that going forward I would not encounter it again.  In addition, he shared some tips for me to follow, which will ensure that the refrigerator operates at its optimum capacity. 

Reliability, attention to details and excellent customer service are few of the things, which make me comfortable to continue trusting and purchasing Sears' products.

Sears first came out Dec. 7, 2017 to diagnose the problem with our dryer.  It took till Feb 6, 2018 to get the part in only to find out the wrong part was ordered.  The part was reordered but for various reasons, mostly on Sears end, the final repair was not completed until March 15, 2018.  The technician was not going to stay and repair it because enough time was not allocated for the repair, but she stayed because of  the long wait to get the repair done.  I  would not recommend Sears for any kind of appliance repair work.  I think they are poorly managed and not accommodating in getting a technician out in a timely fashion to complete the work.

ed the service repairman was on schedule  courteous and had a new motor in his truck,  I was thrilled he had the part I needed.  he worked quickly and everything is working fine .   thank you       r.casciano  ,

This is not my first Rodeo! Sears repair service is the WORST!!!  Kenmore stacking W/D. I thought I'd won the lottery when the Dryer repairman was at my house about 9 am. The very nice man said it was a loose screw which caused the "faceplate" to rattle. Ran the dryer for less than 30 seconds and was done within 30-45 minutes.
I put a few hand towels in to finish drying, the loud banging noise returned in about 2 min.! 
Since his next call was just 6 blocks away, I Immediately called his cell (no answer); called repair and they "sent him a message to return". By 4:00ish I was on the phone w/3 different people assuring he would arrive. 4:30 i received a call it was too late for him to come back!!! Next available date: 1 week later. So today was that day, and no one showed up, AGAIN!

Now a third day has been scheduled for Thursday. Hope this repair doesn't take 2 months for someone to show up as happened with my previous service call. 

They will cancel on you for days, weeks, months and lie continuously on the phone. Sears has no respect for its customers or their time. 

PS the 1 star is for the nice repairman.
