Shamrock Restaurant

Pretty cool place. I had the Reuben and it was good. Salad bar isn’t huge but has some good options at it. There was live entertainment 5/10 which was great. Did attract extra people so it was a bit crowded but the food and service quality were still excellent. Would definitely recommend

Oh we had a great time here!  We pass it every time when we drop off or pick J at college.  While it is a large restaurant, it was very homey.  We had the crab dip as an appetizer.  With the Irish Shepherd's Pie and Seafood Sampler as our entrees, we were very full and happy!  Neither of us finished our meals and our gracious and patient waitress boxed it for us!  We ordered dessert to go - coconut pie and rhubarb pie. It was a great meal later that evening. We will definitely visit again!

After driving two hours to get here we were asked if we had reservations, which of course we did not. The staff was super friendly and very helpful and got us a table for two. They restaurant is quiet and very family oriented. There was live Irish music being played. The food was delicious; however, you got very little for the price. I had the baked haddock with crab imperial the portion was very small for $26.00. I did get a slice of the lemon curd cake to go and it was worth every penny.

Friendly staff. The special March menu for St. Patrick's Day is delicious! The Leprechaun Dinner, chicken pot pie, Guinness beef stew and fish and chips were all delicious. The salad bar is small, but delicious, and includes an olive medley and fresh bread. They had seasonal live Irish music. The ambiance was lovely.

When we go to Gettysburg , on our way back we always stop for dinner at Shamrock Restaurant . It has always been very good. We haven't been in a long while. Today we stopped and had an early dinner. We ordered the prime rib and French fries. The worst cut of prime rib we have had and had to send the French fries back they were burnt. Way too much fat on the prime rib and it was the large cut . Salad bar saved the day. Can't recommend.
