Shelby Women Health: Mohannad Alshalabi, MD

My first time seeing Dr. A was awesome!! I was late for my appointment and the staff allowed me to still be seen as I was a new patient.(really appreciated ladies!!!). Dr A was straight to the point and very detailed in explaining my situation to me. This was my first time having a male GYN and Dr. A made me feel very comfortable. Bedside manner is exceptional!!! Staff is professional and office is clean and cheque!!! So happy I found you guys! Keep up the great work!

This place is a scam. The doctor was never sure how to answer my questions and to top it all off when my girl came in for birth control pills they gave her the pills before properly running a test on her to see if she was pregnant. Thank God she never took the pills because she had a feeling she was pregnant. To make matters worth they charge crazy rates for useless appointments. If you have another obgyn place in mind I advise you to go there instead of this place. Not to mention they will have you waiting over an hour even after scheduling a specific time. THEY ARENT WORTH IT.

Dr. Alshalabi is great and he delivered our beautiful baby girl safely. For this, I'll be forever grateful for him. However, the process for receiving forms that are requested well in advance is highly unacceptable. I have requested forms multiple times and in every instance, they were not completed in a timely manner, documentation was lost, or forms were claimed to have been faxed but necessary parties never received. You send emails and never get a response, people go on vacation and work isn't properly reallocated, and the labs they work with give minsdiagnosises. Versus spending the evening with my daughter today, I have to physically go to their office to obtain a form requested 4 weeks ago. Again, this is unacceptable and I feel any patient should know this in advance before choosing a practice to work with. The least they could do is respond to emails.

I absolutely love having Dr. Alshalabi as my gyn. His bedside manner is excellent and he truly cares for his patients. The staff is very friendly and always helpful as well. I truly appreciate how thorough Dr. A is whenever I had a concern. He is excellent and I intend to be a faithful patient.

I had a wonderful delivery experience and a speedy quick recovery thanks to the expertise of Dr. Alshalabi. My baby boy was healthy and I had no downtime. I couldn’t imagine a better OBGYN.. you won’t be disappointed!
