Cool little lake. Plenty of trout to catch . Beautiful backdrop. We plan on staying here at least once a year.

A fairly perfect camping experience - with friendly hosts, great location, well-spaced, private sites (except for some of the very open RV sites on what Google is calling "Ferguson Point" - really part of the same campground - we easily put up two tents on our site with room to spare. Simple bathrooms, good water - and lovely little trails to the pond and Silver Lake and Kit Carson Lodge. Great swimming access for both the lake & Potholes, and close to dozens of good trails.

Great camping spaces with beautiful views from sunset point and Pot Hole Trail. Silver Lake is across the highway walking distance from the camp grounds. On site Rangers make you feel safe at night and they keep the area and restrooms very clean. Can't wait to go back again.....

This place is great. Swim to the islands on the east side, then hike along the river on the west side and see "the bowls"
