Awesome camping spot right on the lake. It's gorgeous. No hookups but worth it.

We camped between SEP 22 to SEP 24. We didn't except snow during our stay but there was snow everywhere so be prepared for it and carry sleeping bags and warm clothes .hosts are very welcoming and just loved the homemade tamales that was available at the store it was delicious and pretty good to have at that low temperature. Carry some tent tarp to lay on the ground before setting up tent as snow will melt and your tent might stay Cold all night . Be prepared and check for weather conditions otherwise campsites are clean and showers are Available. It is beautiful location.

This large campground offers camping by the lake, not far from Mammoth Lakes. The beautiful waterfall drops into the Twin Lakes which is a popular fishing place. The general store offers hot showers for $6/person. There are bear proof containers at each campsite (please remember to use them, as they sometimes come strolling through the area!), flush toilets, water spikets, dogs are allowed with no extra fee & if you are looking to explore the area, a number of trails start from the campground.

One of the most accessible gems on the East Side. Sparse site placement, dense flora, outstanding views with access to a wide variety of hikes. A fantastic couple of hosts to boot! Very family friendly with a few world-class alpine lakes and an endless amount of climbing within, quite literally, arms reach.
Be bear aware: don't bring spray just a loud voice and responsible food storage!

Been camping here for 22 years in a row! Love this campground. Miss the days of first come first serve campsite claiming.
