Nice campground. Not too big and the sites are spaced far enough apart that you are not right on top of each other. They have quite a few big trees so shade is abundant. We went fishing and caught a handful of really nice trout. I think the biggest one was pushing 18 inches. Great spot! On a side note: keep in mind there is no running water for showers or toilets.

Beautiful place to stay. There is a beach nearby and huge rock that looks like an alligator that you can jump from in late summer when the river is safer.

Really nice place to camp. River was too big to get in but still amazing to experience something different than the busy city full of cars and people! 🙄👌

Great place, quiet, kinda idyllic. The camphost was really kind and helpful. He showed us Where all the Nice things to do are and fixed our canope. Bathrooms are ok, a bit basic, but fits the whole adventure feeling. The river was a great and cold shower every morning.

I've been here several times, and always have fun. It's a quick drive up river and over the bridge to put some inner tubes in the river and float down. From the bridge to the campsite, its about a mile. It's a great float, but watch out for rocks in the rapids. You can come out with a very bruised tailbone. Also, they just recently opened up Limestone to reservations. Would have been great to know that before we arrived. Still found a spot, but it wasn't ideal. Either way, will continue to go back.
