Fremont Campground

Great staff assistance and great for showing up with out a reservation. Host are kind and go out of their way to give a great camping experience. Entrance has a self explanatory registration on the HUGE wooden board. We arrived at 4am no light anywhere and were still able to find the registration fill it out simple 30 dollar fee and drop box less than 2 feet away from the paperwork. Lake located not that far from site nice hike and great views of Santa Barbra.

I very much enjoyed it and so did my dogs. Make sure to reserve a spot online beforehand so that way you can get everything in order. The only problems were the bugs (but what can you expect?) and the walk from the car. Campground #11 has a far walk from literally everything and it’s uphill! At least it gave a good leg workout!

It was the worst campground we camped on! We arrived very late in the night and as German tourist we had no clue of selfregistration. So we just searched for a place for our tent and decided to ask the campground-host the next morning. At 7am a loud voice woke us up and wanted to have money from us. And it was 80$!!! For a night in a small tent on a uneven ground and streets hard to drive on. At least there were tiny showers without any space to change your cloth. For the money we would have expected more and would better have stayed at a nice motel with a Pool and breakfast! And waking people and take their money when their're still sleeping is not a nice method! Totally unfriendly! I wouldn't go there!
