I wish there was a way to rate negative stars. This is the most untruthful, inefficient, unproductive staff I've ever encountered. I suppose in a perfect world, if your reservation is perfect, the camp site chosen was available on the day off arrival and the amenities paid for were actually available and operated properly, then i suppose one could enjoy a stay at this campground. It appears they double book sites in an effort to compensate for no show reservations. Which is bad business. The electric nor water hook ups operated upon Arrival. Staffed promised to repair both immediately, day 3 of our week visit our water was finally fixed. It trickled out of the spigot anyway. Our vacation ended and we never did get any electric at our site. We were supposed to have a water front site but it wasn't available, we agreed to accept another site but us was crummy. Best part was the beautiful sites along the coast during our drive there. We drove 747 miles, never again. Management wasn't willing to compensate us on any level. Wish we would have cancelled upon arrival. Shame on you Plasket Campground staff and management.

The camp grounds is very close to Sand Dollar beach, Plaskett rock and other beautiful natural walks. The campsites are very close together, so this can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on how you like to camp. There is no amplified music allowed either. But, the location is gorgeous and perfect for visiting the beach, or driving out to explore Lucia, Limekiln or Julia Pfeiffer falls.
If you are a large group, consider the group camp site where you can play music and spread out a bit.
There is no cell service in the entire area so download an offline map of the entire region and also get a tide app before you visit.
Please click the thumbs up of this helped so I know. Thanks.

One of the best places to camp on the California coast. Make sure you book EARLY as spots here don't last long. It's well worth the extra planning though. You can expect beautiful weather, the sounds of crashing waves in background, and beautiful towering trees keeping everything nicely shaded. Plenty of things to do around here, though you should make sure you get plenty of had before coming in here, the costal cities gas prices are astronomical.

This campground was really nice and was right next to the beach! I’m only giving 4 stars because when we first got there one of the groundskeepers came running up to our car when we parked at our camp site and was screaming at us. We were there 30 minutes before check in to check out the site and he threw a fit and threatened to take away our campsite if we didn’t leave. He even cussed at my friend, I couldn’t believe how rude he was and they really need to re-evaluate some of their employees. Other than that the two girl rangers we had were super friendly and the site is also dog friendly which was really nice! Will probably stay somewhere else next time just because of how rude that employee was. Unfortunately I didn’t catch his name.

Beautiful views and incredibly clean. I've visited both in the summer and the winter and the campground is well kept regardless of season. Water in the restrooms are turned off during the off season, so be warned. Also, the campground is bordered by poison oak and is on a bit of a slant so if tent camping be prepared to slide while sleeping!
