Santa Cruz / Monterey Bay KOA Holiday

Stayed here for a night and it was great. I had a one room cabin with the fire pit. The grounds were clean and well maintained, quiet, friendly staff. Despite there being a huge group of 8-12yr old boys (scouts or something maybe) it was a quiet stay and everyone was very respectable. The site is super close to Manresa beach which was also quite clean and nice. I will definitely be staying here again.

One of my favorite campgrounds! Don't have any complaints. I've stayed at more than 50 campgrounds, and this one is very well laid out (best layout I've ever seen) where the spots make circles around the playgrounds. (2 circles, 2 playgrounds). The fun train came by everyday and the staff was so kind to go on another trip around if my kids missed the first train. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The heated pool and large spa were great! It was very easy for my kids to find and play with other kids because of the layout and other social opportunities like the train and pool. We did stay over a holiday weekend and was packed, the place attracts very kind and curious campers. One thing I would add as an improvement, there is a wonderful gas fire pit by the pool; Now, we went in the winter and couldn't imagine hanging out so far down the hill at that fire, but if the fire pit was at the top of the hill, closer to where people are camping, then I could see that as a very popular place to hang out and socialize.

With kids this camping feels like a breeze! Clean restrooms, lots of activities! However the campground is super congested and doesn’t give you the feel of camping in the wild. So if you are looking for ‘ sleeping in the backyard ‘ kind of a feel, this is for you. Kind of a commercial camping

Awesome rv campsite. It's pricy but it has everything. Heated pool, hot tub, washer and dryer, good showers, all hook up and all that other good stuff. Getting to the KOA is a bit RV unfriendly. Bad roads and sharp corners. All in all we had a great experience.
