North Beach Campground

We adored this campground. The location is clutch being right on the beach and walking distance from downtown. It's dog friendly, family friendly and super chill. I don't really understand where the negative reviews are coming from as homeless nor loud neighbors was ever a problem. It's such a great spot that I want to have an extended family camping adventure here. You have trees for shade and climbing, an open field for games and racing, a beach for sunbathing and a super hot shower. Great spot hands down.

We love coming here. It's fairly close to the ocean, it's a short walk. At night you fall asleep to the ocean waves. Bathrooms are fairly clean. Right now it's 10pm and the campground is quiet.

Beautiful campground, nice bathrooms & showers, walk to the beach. Didn't know it was a party place! I went to get away from the noise, hustle and bustle of the city, to get some rest & relaxation. But, found myself in the middle of an antique car show, in the park, filled with rowdies & inconsiderate partiers! Couldn't believe it! Not the 1st time though. I camped there several times before but another time, campers were partying loudly til late in the night! I always enjoyed the beauty and seventy of a this park & considered it a great place for family camping. So disappointed last few times we camped. Hope they change their policy on partying!

Great campground!! Large spaces with grass and trees. Clean bathrooms and showers. Showers are now tokens only which you can buy from a machine with your $1, $5 and $10 bills.

My family and I have camped here for many years and have always enjoyed the staycation. Now that I have kids, I wanted to carry on the tradition. The campground has definitely changed. It seems as though there's a lot of "homeless" people scattered around, which gave me an uneasy feeling. I know they need a place too, it just had a different feel to it. I'll still take my kids but will just be more alert and less relaxed.
