Wow great experience! Had a deep tissue massage with Lisa and she was fantastic! The entire atmosphere was relaxing and everyone was super nice. No gimmicky sales pitches. I’ve never felt so comfortable and relaxed at a spa before. Totally going back!!

My mom and I have been going here for years. We have only used Simply Skin for all our manicures and pedicures, and we always enjoy our experience. However, I called and tried to book an appointment for my upcoming wedding. The receptionist, Theresa, answered and was very coarse. She told me "you are too little too late." She made me feel horrible. I thought it was me, but my mom called to see if they could do anything for us, and she said it took Theresa at least 5 minutes to finally warm up to my mother. My mother had a grovel on the phone to get her to be pleasant. We talked to our friend who had the same experience and as a result has not gone back. Unfortunately, we will not be back. Please watch how you speak with people because it really hurts, and I am hurt that you could not have found a better way to speak to me. Simply saying, "I am sorry, but I unfortunately do not have any appointments on that day" would have sufficed.

I have been going to Simply Skin for years! Nikki is the best and I wouldn't go anywhere else. So relaxing and peaceful.

This was my second time for a nail treatment at simply skin. My first experience was pleasant and made me excited to return for a relaxing spa experience. I am so sad to say my second time around wasn’t nearly as relaxing as the first time. The girl who I had this time had me wait for a few minutes while she ate her sandwich, seemed extremely rushed, blamed the products for her mistakes and left my nails on my hands and feet looking subpar. I pointed out a spot on my foot that i wanted her to leave alone because it’s under doctors care and she announced to the whole room what I was speaking about when it was something kind of embarrassing for me. When I pointed out my dissatisfaction with the first color on my fingernails she offered to change it and huffed that she might not have enough time. I tried to point out what was wrong in hopes that she would know what my expectations were and then accused me of being ocd and asked me I’d like to paint my own nails myself. I can only hope that if I do end up there again, that I don’t get the same person or if I do, maybe she’s having a better day now. I feel bad leaving this review but I want to warn others that even if you go to a fancy spa for a mani pedi you can still have an unpleasant experience. During our light conversation I mentioned I usually go to a regular nail salon when I choose to go and her comments and demeanor were too close to racism for my comfort. I got the impression she thought the salons owned by non-white folk were below her. I can say with all honesty that I’ve never been treated like this from my regular salon. I was actually blotchy when I got home from the neck warming wrap being made too hot because of her haste. Lesson learned and I will be sticking with my regular salon or doing my own nails for the foreseeable future.
